Alex Benjamin's Family
He has an older sister named Logan who was born over 2 months premature.
Logan ha been a huge supporter of Alex’s musical career. Alex didn’t come from a musical background,his father would play guitar as a hobby,but other than that he had no musical influence growing up .
His Early Life
Benjamin was born and raised in Phoenix ,Arizona ,but lived in Long Island,New York during kindergarten and first grade .
Career
Initially, Benjamin signed to Columbia Records ,while still enrolled at University of Southern California.however,Columbia Records ended their partnership weeks after he submitted his album.Despite this,he went on a self-funded tour in Europe to open for Marina Kaye in France and Lea in Germany .He promoted his music by performing in parking lots outside of concerts venues and handing out business cards.

"If We Have Each Other" is about Alex’s life .He wrote this song for his sister Logan to thank her for always being there there for him and to tell her that it also works the other way around .
