It was 7:30 and I, Kazuya, Alejandro, Pedro and Peter were at the senior school making breakfast. After that, we waited and the other people arrived. Then the bus arrived and we were all excited about the football match. Some of us didn’t even have a football match! So when all eleven of us were here we entered the bus and we got ready. All of us had football boots, a regent sports kit, a bag and a water bottle. When we were on the bus all of us started singing and also the girls were there and they sang the most. Then some of us were nervous and felt that they were going to be so bad. I concentrated only on myself and thought about what was going to happen.
I was kind of nervous because I heard that there was going to be Classes 8 and 9. After we arrived and before I was going to jump out of the bus I stopped and looked at the football pitch. There were three teams. First, Eaglon is a very strong team and the best goalie of the tournament, second La colt is also a very good football team with an amazing midfielder. St George the team of the school which we also called Pepsi because their football kit was with the Pepsi colours. When we arrived we changed into our football uniforms. Then we put our football boots on and got trained for the football game. When the commentators said at the microphone, “ First match, Regent against Aiglon” We put our shin pads on and did our first match. I was a substitute and at halftime, I came in.
Every match was 12 minutes long. We played a lot of matches till 4:00. And then sadly we came 4th. We were very disappointed and sad because we were last. After that, we stayed another hour on the bus to come back. Some of us were crying, but at least we tried. When we arrived at school people started asking how it was that you win, did you lose. But after a little time, we passed over it.
